Objects: To Promote The Permanent Preservation For The Benefit Of The Public Generally And Especially The Inhabitants Of The Peak District National Park Of The Grade Ii Listed Structure Known As Calver Weir Situated In Calver In The County Of Derbyshire And Having An Ordinance Survey Grid Reference Sk245 753 ('The Weir') And Other Land And Or Buildings Of Beauty Or Historic Interest Or Which Are Of Ecological Or Other Scientific Importance Connected With The River Derwent In The County Of Derbyshire And Generally To Protect And Preserve The Character And Amenities Of The Weir, The River Derwent And Such Land And Or Buildings.
