THE THORNDENE SOCIETY PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND OTHER SERVICES TO PEOPLE WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES IN ORDER TO ENRICH THEIR LIVES. IT ALSO ASSISTS OTHER ORGANISATIONS THAT HAVE THE SAME, OR SIMILAR, AIMS.
Objects: To Promote And Protect The Physical And Mental Health Of Persons With Learning Disabilities Through The Provision Of Financial Assistance Or Accommodation Or In Such Ways As The Trustees May From Time To Time Determine To Help Improve The Condition Of Life Of Such People
