FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2023
The Iruslees present their report and finanaal statements for the year ended 31 December 2023.
The financial statements have been prepared in a¢¢ordance with the accounting policies sel out in note 110 the
financlal slalemenls and comply with the charity's governing document, Ihe Companies Act 2006 and
"Accounting and Reporting by Charities.. Slalemenl ol Recommended Practice applicable lo charities pfftpaiing
their accounts in accordance wlh the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland
IFRS 102)" The charity is a Public Benefit Enlily as defined by FRS 102.
Objectives and activities
The charity's objectives and the principal activity for the year under review were that of relieving sickness and the
financial hardship woildwide and lo advance education and other religious faiths.
Th& charity is organised so that the Iruslees meet regularly lo review ils affairs. The Iruslees are also closely
involved with the day lo day running Df the Charlly.
Achlevements and performance
The trustees consider that the performance of the charity has been salisfaclory. The trustees also feel that the
Charity will continue lo develop and realise ils objective in the following year. Trustee8 are confident that they will
be able lo raise funds by way of voluntary donations from well wishers of the charity.
Financlal revlew
During the year the ¢harlly received donations of £231.464 and Gift Aid income of £54,816 making gross income
of £286,280. The charity donated £277,215 to various charitable organisation in line with objects of the
¢onslilulion of the charity.
The slalemenl ol the financial activities of charity shows a surplus for the year of £7.06012022.' Deflcil of £6,607}
and reserv&s of £24,54312022'. £17.4831.
The Iruslees would like lo take this opportunity lo thank all the donors lor their support during the year. They are
confident that donations from the well wishers will continue in the future.
Reserves
The present level of funding is adequate lo support the conlinualion of the objectives sel out In the charills
governing document and lo cover adminislralive expenses for the follo¥Mng year. The Iruslees consider the
Inancial position of the charity lo be salisfaclory.
The Iruslees have assessed the major risks to which the charity is exposed, and are satisfied that systems are in
pla¢e to mitigale oxposure lo these risks.

I report to the trustees (who are also Directors for the purpose of company lawl on my oxaminalion of the
financial slalemenls of The Auger Foundation I'lhe charitable CDmpany'l for the year ended 31 December 2023
which comprise the Slalernenl of Financial Aclivilies. the Balance Sheet and related notes.
This report is made solely lo the charity's Iruslees, as a body, in a¢cordan¢e with section 145 of the Charities Act
2011. My work has been undertaken so that I might slate lo the charity's Iruslees those mallers l am required ID
siale lo them in this rgporl and for no other purpose. To the lullesl exlenl permilled by law, I do not accept or
assume responsibility lo anyone other than the charity and the charity's Iruslees as a body, for my work. lor this
report, or for the opnions I have formed.

As the Iruslees of charitable company you are responsible for the preparalbon of the financial statements in
accordance with the requirements Df the Companies Acl 20061'lhe 2006 A¢l'l.
Having satisfied myself that the financia5 slalemenls of the charitable company are not required to be audited
under Part 16 of the Act and are eligible lor independent examination, I report in ￿SpeCt of my examination of the
charitable company's financial slalemenls carried out under section 145 01 the Charities Act 2011 Ilhe 2011 Acl'l
and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Diroctions given by the Charity Commission
under section 14515llbl of the 2011 Act.

Accounting policies
1.1 Accountlng conventlon
These financial slalemenls have been prepared in accordance with FRS 102 'The Financial Reporting
Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland. I'FRS 102.1, Accounting and Reporting by Charities
the Statement of Recornmended Practice for charities applylng FRS 102, the Companies Act 2006 and UK
Generally Acopled Accounting Practice. The charity is a Public Benefit Enlily as defined by FRS 102.
The financial slalemenls have b￿n prepared under the historical cost convention.
1.2 Going concern
Al the lime of approv1ng the financial slalemenls, the Irusl&&s have a reasonable expeclatlDn that th& ¢harily
has adequate iesources lo continue operational existence, as well as receiving continued donations trom well
Wlshers. Thus the Iruslees. continue lo adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the financial
slalemenls.
1.3 Charitable funds
Unreslricled funds are available for use al the discretion of the trustees in furtherance of the charity's
objectives.
1.4 Incoming resource5
Income is re¢ognised when the charity is legally enlilled lo It after any performance conditions have been met.
the amounts can be measured reliably, and il is probable that income will be received.
The donations are rec￿niSed once the charity has been nolrfied of the dorialion. unless perfomiance
conditions require deferral of the amount. Incorne lax r&coverable in relation lo donations received under Gift
Aid or deeds ol covenant is recognised at the lime of the donation.
1.5 Resources expended
Any costs which cannot be specifically identified lo another functional activity of the charity are included in the
management and adminislralive expenses.
1.6 Cash and cash aqulvalents
Cash and cash equivalents include cash al bank.
1.7 Flnanclal Instruments
The charlty has elected lo apply the provisions of Section 11 'Basic Financial Inslrumenls, and Sect1on 12
'Olher Financial Instruments Issues. of FRS 102 to all of ils financial inslrumenls.
Financial instruments are recognised in the charity's balance sheet when the charity becomes party lo the
conlraclual provisions ol the inslrumenl.
Financial assets and liabilities are offset, with the nel amounts presented in the financial slaternenls, when
there is a legally enforceable right lo sel off the recognised amounts and there is an intention to settle on a nel
basis or lo realise the asset and sellle the liabi1ily simultaneously.

Expense creditors are obligations lo pay for ServI￿S Ihal have been acquired in the ordinary course ol
operations from service providers.
