By this we Mean: developing our character. defining our gifts and using them for the benefit of others. REVTEW OF ACTIVITIES MISSION The Well of Life seeks to serve our ¢iJmmunities and present a way of living in line with the teaching of Jesus. to answer people's questions with regard to faith. and to meet the needs of people in line with the Way of Jesu& The tru5tecs confirn] that they have mplied with the duty in S&#ion 4 of the Charities Act 2006 to have du¢ regard to public benefit guidance published by the Charity Commission in deterniinin8 the activities undertaken by the charity. The following activities are those eSp181]Y run fr>r the Public Benefit: Practical Help in the Community includin8 the provisi(yn of foo4 clothing, household goods for families and individuals in need We support and encourage our members to Work as volunteers alongside others involved in our comrnunities e.g.: People Care in the Community meeting people on a regular bosis where they are and helpin8 lo bring order to some of the chaos in their lives. Members have LX)ntinueAI to meet with a number of people who are marginaiised and lonely, providin8 them with companionship, encouragement and practical supporL Members have continued to WO with other 8TOUPS and Rushmoor Borough Council to operate a Food Hub to help those in food poverty. NETWORK C RCHES The CentraI Church is made up of two hubs ¢UTrently one in Aldershot and one in Farnborough. There is also one netWOTk thUh govemed by the charity: The Kings Churth Godalming. FINANCIAL REVIEW AND RESERVES POLICY The Charity is primarily fiinded by individual givin& much of which qualifies for Gift Aid tax knefits in the Charity'5 hands. No fund raising activities. grants or i)ther sources of fvndraising related income were sought or received. There was a deficit of£38,102 (2024 deficit of £21.614). which was met from existing unrestricted funds. Trustees and staff have continually reviewed and adjusted controllable expendittwe. We acknowledge our dependency on God for all our financial requirements.
