Global Link is a Development Education Centre, providing creative and participatory learning experiences, to increase awareness of the global dimension and action towards a more fair and sustainable world. These include the 8 key concepts of: global interdependence, values and perceptions, sustainable development, social justice, diversity, citizenship, human rights, and conflict resolution.
Objects: 1)to Advance The Education Of The General Public (chiefly In Lancashire) In Global And Local Issues, In Particular But Not Exclusively With Regard To Trade And Economics, Citizenship And Human Rights, The Environment And Sustainable And Cultural Development.2)to Advance The Promotion Of Citizenship And Community Cohesion Amongst Resettlement And Local Populations In Lancashire3) To Relieve Financial Hardship And Promote Social Inclusion Amongst Those Seeking Asylum And Those Granted Refugee Status Particularly By Assisting With The Resettlement In Lancaster Of Such Persons By Providing Information, Grants, Advice And Onwards Referral.
