TRUSTEES REPORT

The trustees present their report and the accounts for the period ended December 31, 2022.

Christ Apostolic Church (God is Love) is governed by its constitution and in any other way prescribed by the trustees in accordance with the Charity laws of the United Kingdom Trustees who served during the year are:

Principal Activities:

1. To be a christian church and a place of worship devoted to the advancement of the christian religion for the benefit of the public.

2. To present the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ to those in its local community.

3. To assist, encourage and educate its members to preach the good news and to be good citizens of their community and the country at large.

4. Provide Christian educational instructions and/or training for individuals or other organisations.

5. Conduct, encourage and promote social and/or moral activities for the advancement of the christian religion.

6. Encourage, undertake and promote the writing of books and/or the production of audio and/or video materials for the furtherance of its objectives. These books and/or materials may be sold to the public as a means of raising fund for the charity.

7. Promote and encourage or sponsor christian missionary activities within and/or outside the United Kingdom insofar as these activities shall further its objectives.

8. The relief of persons who are in the conditions of hardship or distress or who are aged, sick or disabled in the United Kingdom or abroad.

9. The promotion of fulfillment of such other charitable purposes benefitial to the community.

Achievement and Performance:

The Charity was involved in christian activities and programmes which enhance and create awareness of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Charity has benefited the public within and outside the community of its location by providing programmes such as children programs, youth outreach, marriage and marriage counselling, helping single parents, welfare programs and christian relief foundation. We strengthened the community through counselling on the important issues in the family regardless of backgroung and race.

Core - Activities: Our regular activities include:

1. Sunday services by bringing the people in the community together.

2. Mid-Week Bible fellowships to enhance the knowledge of the word

3. Prayer meetings to heal the person and the land

4. Youth/Children's activities

Activities Undertaken During the Year

During the year under review, the Charity continued to be involved in Christian outreach programmes designed to increase christian wareness and continued to spread the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in accordance with the teachings of the Holy Spirit, strictly guided by the Tenets and practice of the Christ Apostolic Church of One Fold, One Shepherd. The result of the activities of the Charity for the year are set out in the Financial Statements on pages 7 - 9

The Charity also organised cloths banks and feeding programs during the year to cater for the less priviledged in the society.

ACCOUNTANTS REPORT

We have conducted an independent examination of the financial statements on pages 7 to 9 which have been prepared in accordance with the general directions given by the Charity Commissioners. We have also undertaken the review of the records kept by the Charity (Christ Apostolic Church God is Love) and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records.

An independent examination includes the consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanation from the Trustees regarding any such matters.

The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required by full audit and, consequently, we do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.

In connection with our examination, no matter has come to our attention which:

• (1) gives us reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect, the requirements to

• (a) keep accounting records in accordance with section 386 of the Companies Act 2006; and

• (b) to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with the accounting requirements of the 2006 Act have not been met; or

• (2) in our opinion, attention should be drawn to in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts so prepared.

For the year in question the charity was entitled to exemption conferred by Charity Commission rules and regulation for its account to be audited.

The trutees acknowledge their responsibilities for:-

1. Ensuring that the charity keeps proper accounting records which of all incoming resources and resourses used during the period and how unexpended balance of funds are deployed at the end of the accounting period. [SORP 10]

1. Accounting Policies

1.1 Basis of preparation of accounts

The accounts are prepared under the historical cost convention and incorporate the result of the principal activity which is described in the trustees report.

The charity has taken advantage of the exemption in the Financial Reporting Standard 1

(F.R.S. 1) from the requirement to produce a cashflow statement on the ground that it is a small company.
