**Objects:** TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATIONAL POTENTIAL AND ACHIEVEMENT OF CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 16 EXPERIENCING BASIC DIFFICULTIES WITH LITERACY AND NUMERACY BY THE PROVISION OF AN EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT SERVICE DELIVERED WITHIN SCHOOLS AND SUPPORTING LEARNING IN THE HOME; AND BY THE PROVISION OF TRAINING PROGRAMMES FOR SCHOOL TEACHING AND SUPPORT STAFF, TRAINEE TEACHERS AND CORPORATE VOLUNTEERS INVOLVED IN IMPROVING THE LITERACY AND NUMERACY SKILLS OF PUPILS.

**Activities:** WE HELP CHILDREN EXPERIENCING DIFFICULTIES WITH EARLY LITERACY AND NUMERACY TO IMPROVE THEIR SKILLS AND BECOME CONFIDENT AND ENTHUSIASTIC LEARNERS AT HOME AND SCHOOL. WE TEACH CHILDREN INDIVIDUALLY AND IN GROUPS ON TAILOR-MADE COURSES. WE MODEL OUR APPROACH AND SHARE IDEAS AND RESOURCES WITH THEIR PARENTS/CARERS. WE TRAIN TEACHERS AND TEACHING ASSISTANTS TO DELIVER BASIC SKILLS SUPPORT.
