Activities
The Macaulay Area Action group is a voluntary group which aims to improve the quality of life and community spirit in a deprived area of Grimsby. We manage our own Community Hall, and organise social and educational activities for local residents. Activities we organise are a community Walk, New Age Curling, Bingo,Tai Chi & a weekly Drop In.We also hire out the hall to other groups and individuals
Objects: 1. For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of The Macaulay Area Of Grimsby To Provide In The Interests Of Social Welfare Facilities For Recreation And Other Leisure Time Occupation And For The Advancement Of Education With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life Of The Said Inhabitants Having Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Age, Youth, Infirmity, Disablement, Poverty Or Social And Economic Circumstances, And:2. For The Relief Of The Inhabitants Of The Macaulay Area Of Grimsby Who Are Suffering From Financial Hardship, Sickness And Distress Who Are Otherwise In Need By Providing Information And Advice And By Such Other Charitable Means As The Trustees Shall From Time To Time Decide
