Living Hope Church (Kemi Ilori Ministries) Limited is a company limited by guarantee governed by its Memorandum and Articles of Association dated 31[st] March 2004. It is registered as a charity with the Charity Commission. Anyone over the age of 18 can become a member of the Company.
Organisation
The Trustees administer the charity.
Objectives and activities
The object of the charity is:
- To promote the Christian faith based on the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ through Churches and non-Church organisations, through the media, community and cultural events and missionary activities.
The main goals for the year were:

Develop and consolidate the new branches of the church.

Train and commission new leaders.

Organise events and meetings focused on Christian worship, teaching, and education.

Offer moral, ethical, material, technical and professional support for Church members and groups to promote the mission and vision of Living Hope Church.

How we accomplished the goals

We updated our strategic and operational framework, Our Faith, Our Life .

We reviewed our five-year developmental plan.

We supported our branches with much needed worship equipment.

We strengthened our church networks through regular virtual church services on Zoom.

We successfully carried out all our 2021 schedule of events and meetings focused on Christian worship, teaching and education.

Financial Review
The Charity is reliant on the voluntary donations of Church members and the public.
Investment powers and policy
Under the Memorandum and Articles of Association, the charity has the power to invest in any way the Trustees wish. We invested in a new church auditorium for our church in Kampala, Uganda.

Reflections and Plans for future periods
Our five-year developmental plan has been updated with a focus on London, instead of Leeds and new target dates for opening branches in the US and Canada in 2025.

Trustees’ responsibilities in relation to the financial statements
Company law requires the trustees to prepare financial statements that give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity at the end of the financial year and of its surplus or deficit for the financial year.
In accordance with company law, as the company’s directors, we certify that as the directors of the company we have taken all the steps that we ought to have taken in order to give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity at the end of the financial year and of its surplus or deficit for the financial year.
We confirm that:
(a) For the year ended 31st December 2022, the Charity was entitled to exemption under section 477(2) of the Companies Act 2006.
(b) The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006;
(c) The Trustees acknowledge their responsibility for:
i. Ensuring the company keeps accounting records which comply with section 386; and
ii. Preparing accounts which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the company as at the end of the financial year, and of its profit or loss for the financial year, in accordance with the requirements of section 393, and which otherwise comply with the requirements of the Companies Act relating to accounts, so far as applicable to the company.
These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to small companies regime.
