ANNUAL REPORT for the ear ended 31st December 2024 1) General The charity operates two premises - All Saints Hall - North Street, Langport, Somerset. TA10 9RH The Angel Community Centre - Bow Street, Langport, Somerset. TA10 9PQ web site - htt s.llan ellan ort.chessck.co.uk The registered address is the 3 The Glebe, Fivehead, Taunton TA3 6QB. The Managing Trustee is the Parochial Church Council of St. Mary's Church, Huish Episcopi. The PCC members at the date this report was approved are - Clive Sills (PCC lay vice chair and Churchwarden) Chris Jackson (Churchwarden, Secretary and Charity Treasurer) Sheila Noyes (Deputy Churchwarden) John Ford (co-opted Church Treasurer) Yvonne Walker (secretary) Janet Louth Jim Winfield Jenny Rule Ruth Grinter Philip Snowdon Robert Taylor Alma Tucker Churchwardens are ex officio members elected annually and PCC members are elected for three years, but can elect to offer themselves for re-election at the end of their term. New members have to be nominated by two members of the church and approved by the Church Electoral Roll members on a majority vote, at the Annual Parochial Church Council meeting. All trustees give their time voluntarily and receive no remuneration or other benefits. The Custodian Trustee is The Bath and Wells Diocesan Board of Finan￿, who hold all land and buildings in trust for the charity, but play no active part in its management. 2) Structure Governance and Mana ement The Charity is governed by a Scheme of The Charity Commissioners dated 20th October 2004 and approved by the Bath and Wells Diocesan Board of Finance.

The Charity Management Group includes the PCC standing committee members, other PCC members and approved invited individuals from the local community, who are interested in developing this networking project. Routine management of The Angel is delegated to the Charity Management Group, reporting to the full PCC at least Three times a year. Routine management of All Saints Hall is dealt with by the PCC standing committee, reporting to the full PCC. A "cash accounting" policy is used with recognition of significant liabilities. 3) Financial Review and Achievements All Saints Hall Income amounted to £5.1 k, (2024 £5.4k) with a £1.8k surplus. It is available for hire by the community and is normally used by around ten regular groups including ad hoc hire The Angel Community Centre, trading as The Angel The Angel provides a number of meetings, events, activities, and a food bank for the local community, focussing on those mentallylphysically handicapped, the elderly, those in financial hardship etc. Total Income was £31.1 k (2024 £18.7), Which includes - Food bank grants and donations of £15,686- Somerset Community Foundation Food bank donations from local Companies and individuals Langport Town Council Huish Episcopi Parish Council £7,500 £6,436 £ 750 £1,000 With our thanks for these generous donations An operating £4.2k cash surplus was carried forward. Free Reserve's Policy - Reserves are normally held sufficient to cover emergency repairs, unforeseen expenses and comparable to one year's non food bank income. The free balance for 2024 was £10.8k. (2023 £4.5) Robust financial controls are maintained to ensure overall financial planning and governan￿.

LANGPORT COMMUNITY TRUST CHARITY NUMBER 1106686 On accounts year ended: Set out on pages as attached 31 December 2024 Respective responsibilities As the charity trustees you are responsible for the of preparation of the accountsi you consider that the Trustees and examiner audit requirement of Section 43(2) of the Charities Act 1993 (the Act) does not apply. It is my responsibility to state, on the basis of procedures specified in the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners under section 43{7)(b) of the Act whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basls of Independent Examiner's Report My examlnatlon was carrled out In accordance wlth the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the Accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the Accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the Accounts and seeking explanation from you as Trustees concerning such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an Audit oplnlon on the view given by the accounts. Independent Examiner's Statement In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention: (l) which gives me reasonable cause to belleve that in any material respect the requirements: (a) to keep accountlng records in accordance wlth Section 41 of the Act and (b) to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting requirements of the Act have not been met or (2) to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
