OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
Ob"ectives and aims
The objectives of the charty are the relief of Fovety $￿knesS and distress, the preservation and protection
of good heath and the advancement of education of the people of Romania, particularly but not exclusively
young people, by the provision of grants, financial assistance, equipment and such other trdcilits.es as the
trustees shall in their absolute discretion from time to time detennine.

The charity exists to provide help. mainly financial. lo the people in Romania, Felieve people living in povety,
helping organisatiot)s to get street children off the streets, the eldedy- prowding accommodation and meals
elc (particularly in winter), helping families who are in n￿d_
The charity has complied with the duty under the Char¥ties Act 2011 to have due regard to public benefit
guidance published by the C¢)mmission.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
The Hamby Foundation exists lo support vartous organisattons helping abandoned children and pwr
families in need in the city of Constanta.
The Hamby Foundation continues lo work closely alongside the centre for orphans and street children, Project
Romania Rescue IPRR}. The Hamby Foundation supports PRR with monies for food. staff wages, electricity.
transport costs, water and gas.
PRR have been able to expand their work over the past year and now house around 40 boys and girls and
young people in two care homes. They also feed and clothe children who live on the streets, and we support
this work wrth money for food, clolhing and medicine.
The Hamby Foundation also helps poor old people. families in need and other aid agencies with individual
donations and gifts.
The Hamby Foundation also supports the work in the town of Navodari in Dobreja County, south-eastern
Romania_
The Trustees are very grateful to the many people who give so generously and to the volunteers who sUPPOrt
the Foundation with their time.

Our fvnds come from donations and sales through our charity shop in Rotherham.

accordance wsth the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 fthe Acr).
I report in iespe¢t of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011
Act and in carying out my exarnination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity
Commission under section 145(5){bl of the Act.

connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that, in any material respecL'
accounting records were r￿t kept in accordance wrth section 130 of the Act, or

the accounts did not compW with the applicable requirements wnceming the fomi of content
of accounts set out in the charib.es (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any
reqvirement that the accounts give a'true and faif view which is not a matter considered as part
of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which
