**Objects:** TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION AND AWARENESS IN LIVER DISEASES AND DISORDERS, BY THE PROVISION OF THE FACILITATION OF RESEARCH DIRECTED TOWARDS THE DEVELOPMENT AND EVALUATION OF TREATMENT OF SUCH DISEASES AND DISORDERS.

**Activities:** The purpose of the Association is to a) promote research and the exchange of scientific information concerning the liver;b) foster clinical and scientific studies within the UK; c) promote education on liver diseases and their management; d) promote public awareness of liver diseases; e) advise national health authorities regarding all aspects of liver disease, clinical services and research.
