The truslees who served during the year and up to the date of this report are set out on page 1. Governing Document New Wine Cymru is a registered charity number 1106303 and a company limited by guarantee and was incorporated on 25th February 2004 and registered as a charity on 13th October 2004. The charitable company is governed by a memorandum and articles of association. Trustees are elected by the members and none have any interest in the charity. The charity is managed by the Board of Trustees which decides upon strategic and policy matters and is supported by an Operations Manager. Objectives The company's principal activity was to advance the Christian religion in Wales The Directors have given due regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit and, in particular, the specific guidancè on charities for the advancement of religion. The charity seeks to change the lives for the good of the spiritual, moral, ethical and practical ways to reflect and demonstrate the Christian Faith. The Directors are committed to enabling as many people as possible to benefit from the charity's activities. Some activities are offered or provided at no cost and when a charge is made this may be kept to a minimum or subsidised to enable people at attend. The Directors look to concentrate the charity's activities principally within Wales. Particular emphasis is placed on working with churches and church leaders. Achievements, Activities and Performance REPORT ON ACTIVITIES This section on the report focuses on the period April 2024 to March 2025. The need for precautionary measures due to Covid are now no longer needed and NWC has been able to meet face to face in an unrestricted manner across all teams. TEAM MEETINGS New Wine Cymru (NWC) Teams {Apostolic team, Core team and Directors) have held regular meetings throughout the year focusing on the strategic issues which enable NWC to move forward in its vision and mission. The National Apostolic Team were able to hold a 2 day retreat in late Autumn 2024 to worship. pray and work through a number of these strategic issues. Some overseas friends joined us for this time. Afurther 2 day retreatwas held in February 2025 where we unanimouslyfound clarity and direction concerning our approach to help develop and release Eph 4 ministries among the churches across Wales. The Core Team met several times throughout the year and continued to focus on the issues at the heart of NWC'S ministry. The Directors met both on-line and in person to fulfil their duties with the AGM taking place in December 2024.

The eventwas hosted again by Cornerstone Church who served the conference delegates in such a wonderful way. Our guest speakers this year were Andrew Ollerton, Roger Ellis and Rachel Jordan-wolf alongside Julian and Sarah Richards who all brought encouraging and challenging messages to the conference around the place of the Word in mission. JULIAN'S APOSTOLIC MINISTRY Throughout 2025, Julian has been able to travel widely across Wales as well as overseas, furthering the reach and influence of NWC. He has also been able to visit each of the regions as part of the missional pathways initiative, bringing encouragement on creating a culture of mission within our churches. Healing cafes. Regional Leaders. Days and Sunday preaching have seen Julian visit many church across the regions through this year. PRAYER INITIATIVE Throughout 2025. NWC will galher churches in each of the 7 regions to pray for unity, growth and mission across the nation. These gatherings will be broadcast live so that people will be able to join in from any of the regions. The initial gatherings have been wéll attended and are helping to develop the increasing appetite for prayer around the nation. Financial review Policy on reserves The directors have established a reserves policy that the charity should hold sufficient funds in reserve to meet its normal operating costs excluding events and one-off items of expenditure for a period of six months. Where reserves fall below this level, the board will seek ways to re-esiablish reserves over a prudent period of time lo the level set in the policy. statement of trustees. res onsibilities The trustees are responsible for preparing the annual report and the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice. The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the Charities A¢t) and that an independent examination is needed. I have been appointed as independent examiner under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 and report in accordance with regulations made under section 145 of that Act. Basis of accounting The financial ststements are prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Slatement of Recommended Practice 'Accounting and Reporting by Charities.. Statement of Recommended Practice, {SORP FRS102) and with the Charities Act. 1.2. Change in Basis of Accounling There has been no change in the accounling methods this year. 1.3. Changes to previous Accounts No changes have been made to ac¢ounts for the previous years. 2. Accounting policies The principal accounting policies are summarised below. The accounting policies have been applied consistently throughout the year. 2.1 Income All income is included in the statement of financial activities when the charity is entitled to the income and the amount can be quantified with reasonable accuracy. The following specific policies are applied to particular categories of income- Voluntary income is received by way of donations and gifts and is included in full in the Statement of Financial Activities when receivable. Gifts donated for resale are included as income when they are sold. Donated assets are included at the value to the charity where this can be quantified. and a third party is bearing the cost. The value of services provided by volunteers has not been included. Tax Reclaims are included in the SOFA at the same time as the gift to which they relate. Grants, including grants for the purchase of fixed assets. are recognised in full in the Statement of Financial Activities in the year in which they are receivable. Income from investments is included in the year in which it is receivable. Legacies are included when the charity is advised by the personal representative of an estate that payment will be made or property transferred and the amount involved can be quantified. 2.2 Expenditure Expenditure is recognised on an accrual basis as a liability is incurred. Expendilure includes any VAT which cannot be fully recovered and is reported as part of the expenditure to which it relates. Expenditure is recognised in the year in which it is incurred. 2.3 Tangible fixed assets and depreciation Tangible fixed assets are ststed at cost less accumulated depreciation. Depreciation is provided at rales calculated to write off the cost less residual value of each asset over it5 expected useful life, on a straight-line basis as follow5..
