REPORTOF THE TRUSTEES
The Trustees are pleased to present their annual Dlrector's report together with the financial statements
of the charity for the year ending 30, April 2025.
The tinancial statements comply with the Charities Act 2011 and Accounting and Reporting by Charities:
Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparlng their accounts in accordance with
the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Ireland IFRS 1021 (effective I" January 20151.

Governing Document
The Charlty achieved charitable status on S October 2004. It is governed by the Constitution adopted on
2 September 2004. A list of trustees serving during the year is set out above.
The Board of Trustees Is accotjntable for ensuring the Charity's good governance, linancial prudence and
solvency. The Trustee5 must also be sure that legal and human resources responsibllities are met, and that
Strategies and policies are consistent with the Charity's over311 strategic objectives.
OBJECTIVES AND AIMS
The objective of the Charity is to support young people in mid Cheshire through the promotion of
community participation in healthy recreation by the provision of faclllties for playing football.

The board of trustees does not directly invest other than In cash on bank deposit, and believes this policy is
appropriate for the Charity.

Slgnificant funding continues to come from monthly subscriptions from parents of players.

STATEMENT OF TRUSTEES RESPONSIBILITIES
The Trustees are responsible for preparing the Report of the Trustees and the financial statements in
accordance with applicable law and UK Account Standards IUKGAAPI.
In preparing these financial statements, the Trustees are requlred to..

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORTTO THE TRUSTEES
I present my report on the accounts for the year ended 30 April 2025.
RESPECTIVE RESPONSIBILITIES OF TRUSTEES AND EXAMINER
The charity'5 trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's trustees consider
that an audit is not required for this year ILJnder Section 144121 of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Actll
and that an independent examination is required. l am qualified to undertake the examination by being a
qualified member of ACCA. Having satisfied myself that the charity is not subject to audit under company
law and is eligible for independent examination, it is my responsibility to.. examine the account5 under
Section 145 of the 2011 Act; to follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the
Charlty Commission (under Section 145lSllbl of the 2011 Act); and to 5t?te whether particular matters
have come to my attention.
BASIS OF THE INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT
My examination was carried out in accordance wlth the General Directions given by the Charity
Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a
comparison of the 3CCDunts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual
items or disclosures In the accounts and seeklng explanations from you as trustees concerning any such
matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit,
and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'true and fair view, and the
report is limited to those matters set out in the statements below.
INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S STATEMENT
In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention whSch glves me reasonable cause
to believe that, in any material respect, the requirements.. to keep accounting records in accordance with
Section 386 and 387 of the Companies Act 2006,. and to prepare accounts which accord with the
accounting records, comply with the accounting requirements of Sections 394 and 395 of the Companies
Act 2006 and with the methods and principles of the Accounting and Reporknng by Charities.. Statement of
Recommended Practice applicable to charitr'es preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial
Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021 (effective l January 20151 have
not been met,. or to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper
understanding of the accounts to be reached.

during the reporting perlod. All coaches, new
and existing, continue to have 811 relevant
training and courses paid for by the club lo
ensure they, and the club, are fully
compliant. The club retained its FA'S
'England Accredited" status (formerly the
'Charter Standard, slatus) wlth a 2-star
rating.

Membership of the Junior Foolball Club
provides children with free entry to Wilton
Albion Football Club senior fixtures. This
encourages chlldren and parents to watch
football in Ihe Community lo support a local
football team. Each junior team has the
opportunily to provide ball persons for the
senior fixtures. The club subsidlses two
season tickets for each team's management
to attend the games.
