The trustees present their report along with the financial statements of the charitable company for the
year ended 31 March 2025. The financlal statements have been prepared In accordance vith the
accounting policles set out in Note 1 to the accounts whlch can be found on page 7.
Constftutlon and Obleets
The charity is consts"tuted by Memorandum and Axtides of Association, tt was orfglnalty Incorporated
on 4th August 20(M and amended by a special resolutlon dated 29th September 2004.
The object of tha charitabb company during the year continues to be the provislon of local welfare hall
faclllties for tha benefft of the Suffoundlng communlty.
The trustees have referred to the guidance gfven by the Charlty Commlssion on public benefft when
reVIe￿Ing the charltys aims, and details of the actlvitles that have taken place duAng the year can bo
found later In repo

The trustees who have served Ihe ch￿ty durlng the year are Sho￿ on page 1.
The charlty Is responsible for malntaining the premlses and Its contents and grounds In a suftable
state of repalr for use by th088 who live in the surroundlng arna. It ralses Income thr¢)ugh varlous
charitable activlts88, the main one belrvJ the hlrlng out of ts laclllties to the general public, the charlty
runs a communlty gym along a communlty café. Theje activltie8 are almed at encouraglng
soclal interactlon and In the case of the gym, a healthler lttestyle.
Trustse vacancles are advertised and Intere8ted parttes are asked to apply In writlng. Intervlews are
hekl and 8uft8ble candidates are then recrulted and inducted.
Flnanclal R•vl•w
The chartty had Incomlng resources of £296,247 {2024: £286.183). Grant income totslled £210,185
(2024.. £194,709). All the grant Income was r88trlcted funds.
Olher recelpts totalled £86,062 (2024: £71,474). Total expendlture amounted to £280,338
(2024: £294,309) resulting in a surplus of £15,911 (2024: defKit £28,126).
As at the balance sheet date the asset value of the charity was £250,587 comprl8ing of fixed a388ts
£247,578 and net current 8S88ts of £3,009.
R•vl•w ol Actlvltlo8
The Associatson has continued to org8nis8 various activites Induding the Communlty
Gym. The Café has also seen the number of activities and events held increase to include concerts.
blrthday parties and private bookings. Fundlng for core activities still remaln an ongoing challenge
and whilst the Associatk)n has been successful in gaining some extemal some external lunding,
this process continues to be a source of concem. Staff continue to work outsKle partners
such as local schools and local community organlsations and have developed new neiwY)rking
Ilnks with the same.

The charitable company does not have an investment policy as such, but the trustees have taken the
sensible approach and placed the bulk of the charitys liquid assets in interest bearing bank accounts to

Rtserves Pollcy
It Is the policy of the trustees to malntaln unrestricted funds vknich are the free reserv88 of the charity at
level to provide 8ufficlent funds to cover antidpated admlnlstration and support costs lor a period of
Ive months. The trustees are aware that the charltls available fvnd8 are riot currenty in Ilne *ith
Ihls pollcy and are considerfng ways In which this can be resofved.
