Activities

Provision of a Community Cafe & Gym; Afterschool and Holiday Play ; Weekly wellbeing classes such as Mental Helth support, Fitness classes, Food Hamper scheme and Warm Hub, Non vocational classes/courses, community resources e.g. internet access, photocopying, printing, distribution of recycling bags, Events and Concerts held as well as room rental for parties.

Objects: To Further Such Charitable Purposes For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Cwmparc And The Surrounding Areas, In Rhondda Cynon Taff, (the 'area Of Benefit') As The Directors See Fit From Time To Time In Particular But Not Limited To The Foregoing By:(a) Promoting For The Public Benefit The Regeneration Of The Area Of Benefit;(b) Advancing Public Education In Particular In The Areas Of Training Or Retraining;(c) Relieving Unemployment;(d) Providing Technical Assistance Or Business Advice Or Consultancy In Order To Provide Training And Employment Opportunities For Unemployed People In Cases Of Financial Or Other Charitable Need Through Help: (i) In Setting Up Their Own Business, Or (ii) To Existing Businesses;(e) Developing Their Capacity And Skills In Such A Way That They Are Better Able To Identify, And Help Meet, Their Needs And To Participate More Fully In Society(f) Promoting The Arts In All Their Forms For The Benefit Of The Public;(g) Providing Recreational Facilities For Those Who By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Financial Hardship Or Social And Economic Circumstances, Have Need Of Such Facilities;(h) Providing Childcare Facilities And Facilities For The Youth (including The Provision Of Pre-School, After-School And School Holiday Clubs And Projects); And(i) Promoting The Efficiency And Effectiveness Of Charities And Other Not-For-Profit Organisations And The Effective Use Of Charitable Resources.
