**Objects:** TO PROMOTE THE GENERAL BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF FROME AND THE SURROUNDING AREA(A) BY THE PROVISION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE OR FACILITIES FOR THE RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION FOR THE USE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE (B) BY SUCH OTHER MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT.

**Activities:** The Frome Memorial Theatre facilities, run by volunteers, provide recreation and entertainment.  A 540 seat Theatre houses arts and cultural performances.  The Frome Assembly rooms are community facilities used for smaller performances and rehearsals, a day centre for the elderly, blood donor unit, council meetings and a facility for private functions.  It is the home of the local War Memorial.
