closer links between staff, parents, carers, children
and frlends In the communbty.
In 2023124,we or8anlsed three communty engagln8
events including our annual Christmas and Summer
Fairs and the May Mudder.
This year fundraising contrlbuted towards:
New school playground equipment and the
continued redevelopment of the Woodland
Garden provide enrichin8 Outdoor spaces.
We funded special events including the Year 6
discos and festive celebrations like Christmas
Parties, Feast Day treats and HO￿ Communion
parties for Year 3.
An Initial investment in a new storage solutlon
was made to ensure the lon8-term care and
preservation of equipment and donations.

and enjoyable. We were delighted to see so mary
new members of our school communlty Step
forward to volunteer.
Several dedlcated volunteers stepF*d up to assume
ongoing responsibility for specrfic events. including
our three unrform sales and the maintenènce days
for the Woodland Garden.

Our cash funds balance at the end of year was
£37,661.
Of this, the £20,080 balance from the previous year
plu5 this financial yearf5 £34,943 net receipts from
the fundraising activitie5 and events was oftset by
£17,362 of spend towards the school and
community.

The charity aims to maintain a sustainable financial
position that allows for the organisation of two
annual fairs, while also supporting events such as
discos, Christmas parties. the May Mudder and Feast
day treats. Remaining funds will be thoughtFully
allocated to the school through collaboratNe
discussions with school leadership.
In 2024125, the PTFA anticipates further expenditure
in new storage solutions to maximise event income
and efficiencies for the future.
Further planned expenditures include:

more comfortable and conducive learnln8
environment for students and reduce
malntenance time and costs for the schoofs
facilities manager.

pupils and members of the wider
community who utilise our facilitie5.
Enhanced Play8rourKI Fadlltles: Up8radln8
play8round facilitie5 will provide all children
with access to en8aging and stimulatin8
play spaces that promote physlcal actlvity,
social interactlon, and overall well-bein8.
