INDEpfiNDEN'f EXAMINLII'S REPORT
TO TIIE TRUSTEE4 s or
KIDS FIRST
I report on the accounts of Ilie Sociely for Ihe year ended 23 June 2024 which are set oul on pages 4 to 9.
Rcspective responsibilities of trustees and examiner
Thc charity's trustccs are responsible for the preparation ofihe accounts. The charity's trustees consider Ihal an audit is
not required for this year undei. section 144(2) of Ihc Charilies Acl 2011 (the 2011 Acl) and IhaL an indcpendcnl
examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to:
Examine the accounts undci" scclion 145 of the 2011 Act;
To follow the procedures laid down in the Gencral Directions given by the Charity Commissioncr under
section 145(5)(b) of the 201 l Act. and
To state whether pailicular matlers have come to my attention.
Basis of independent examiner's statement
My examination was carried out in accordancc with General Directions given by the Charity Commissioner. An
examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charily and a comparison of the accounts prcscntcd
with those records. IL also includes consideration of any unusual ilems or disclosures in Ihe accounls, and Ihe seeking
explanalions from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all Lhe
evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as lo whether the accounts arc a "truc
and fair view" and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement belni,I,.
Independent examiner's statement
In connection with my exainination, no malter has come to my altenlion:
(l) which gives me reasonable cause to believe that, in any material respecl the requirements:
to keep accounting records in accordance with section 130 of the 201 l Act. and
to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and to comply with the accounting
requirements of the 2011 Act have not been met; or
(2) to which, in my opinion, allention should be drawn in order to enablc a proper understanding ot" the accounls lo bc
reachcd.
