Publlc Baneflt The Charty is a local voluntary organisation that offers support help to young families living in Oaventy and South Northamptonshire. A]1 families supported by the scheme are experiencing difficuEt or stressful situations and have at least one child under five years old. The public is therefore able to benefrt from this bespoke service, delivered to peopl? in th&ir Cmin homes. Objects and Achievem8nts The objects of the Charity ar8: 1. To safeguard. protect and pr8serv8 the good health both mental and physi¢al of chiklren and the parents of children. 2. To prevent cruelty to or maEtreatment of children. 3. To relieve sickness, wvety and need amongst children and parents of ChIld￿n. 4. To promote the education of the public in better Star￿ardS of childcare within the co￿ncIl District of West Northarnptonshire and its environs. Achievements and PerfomMn¢e As is HomELStart's practice, staff and volunteers continued to work closely WTth families to enable them to achieve the go8ls they identified at the beginning of their relationship, visiting larnilies frequently in Iheir own hornes. Our coordin*Jrs and yolunleers continue to support families also by way ol phone, FaceTimo and Zoom calls as well as WhatsApp messaging. Wth the aid of funding frorn Try￿c￿er Town Council, Children in Need & Sports England. we have been able to run projects during the finanGial year in Towcester & Daventry providing early years ser¥ices to chiklren & young people experiencing family related challenges.

The projects undertaken with the grants from Children in Need and Sports England continued into this financial year We are constantty moniloring eur expenditure agalnst an approved budgd ensuring they remain on track. During the year our total expenditure was £98.363, as detaRed in notes 2 & 4 in th8 financial statement. Our overall results fDr Ihe year show a defirAt of £27,388, leaving the Charity with overall fund balanGes at 3131 March 2024 of £90,064.
