Bethesda Ministries, also known as Nottingham UPC, of Forester Street, Netherfield, Nottingham, NG4 2LJ is registered with the Charity Commission (No 1105752) and constituted by Deed of Trust dated 18 August 2004.

Structure, governance and management The Charity is constituted and governed by a Trust Deed dated 18 August 2004.
Trustees of the Charity are selected and appointed under Section 15 and 16 of the Trust Deed.
The Charity functions under a national umbreila of and is affiliated to United Pentecostal Church of Great Britain & Ireland (UPC GB&l). It is governed by National Constitution of the UPC GB&l.
The Charity has a Child Protection Policy and GDPR Policy in place.
Objectives The aim of Bethesda Ministries is:

a) to advance the Christian faith in accordance with the Statement of Beliefs
appearing in the Schedule hereto in Nottingham and in such other parts of the
United Kingdom or the world as the Trustees may from time to time think fit and
to fulfil such other purposes which are exclusively charitable according to the law
of England and Wales and are connected with the charitable work of the Trust;
b) to relieve persons who are in conditions of need or hardship or who are aged or
sick and to relieve the distress caused thereby in the said location and in such
other parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the Trustees may from time to
time think fit.
Bethesda Ministries aims to support when able all requests which are in line with the objectives
of the Charity. To this end a third of all gift aid funds are directed. Requests such as:
- Mission outreach activities
- Support of any youth activities
- Purchase or repair of buildings for other UPC assemblies.

They also aim to support the community where appropriate:
- Those experiencing financial hardship - Community hal! available for use for various activities - Food Bank operated under the auspices of Bethesda Ministries in the Community Hall - Community lead development & charitable programmes.

When undertaking the Charity's work, the trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit.
Achievements and performance
The principal sources of funds continued to be from the members tithes and offerings and from public giving/Gift Aid.
During the year we:
- Led souls to Christ - they believed and were baptised - Held Food Bank and café sessions every Wednesday - Donated £6,459 to missions and charitable causes.

Contributions were received to assist with the Community Food Bank:
£1,070 from Gedling Borough Council
£1,936,25 from other contributors
Financial review
Reserves policy All reserves are to be heid in a Savings Account.

The Charity is seeking to clear the outstanding mortgage to the Natwest Bank of circa £33.
The trustees declare that they have approved the trustees’ report above.

Independent Examiner's Report to the trustees of
Bethesda Ministries (Nottingham)
| report to the Trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above Charity for the year ended 5 April 2025, which are set out on pages 4 and 5.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the Charity's Trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act").
| report in respect of my examination of the Charity's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act. In carrying out my examination | have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examiner's statement
| have completed my examination. | confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that, in any material respect:
- the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; and - the accounts did not accord with those records.
| have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
