The hall is a base for profit and non profit making organisations which encourage excercise, the arts, educational and leisure activities. The committee maintain and upgrade the building in line with all current health and safety legislation.

Objects: Village Hall For The Use Of Inhabitants Of The Parish Of Copt Hewick In The County Of North Yorkshire (Hereinafter Called "The Area Of Benefit") Without Distinction Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions, Including Use For Meetings, Lectures And Classes And For Other Forms Of Recreation And Leisure- Time Occupation, With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants.
