We currently help over 200 children with lifelimiting health conditions and their families in our community. Every year, we provide a minimum of 80 memory photograph experiences and 14 family memory days. We support families in the North West and North Wales.** ## **MEMORY PHOTOGRAPHY:** This year we have supported 75 families with memorable photo shoots. ## **FAMILY MEMORABLE DAYS:** This year we held 14 family memorable days which supported 162 families. **----- Start of picture text -----**

## **JUMP CHILDREN’S CHARITY ANNUAL REPORT 23/24** ## **FUNDRAISING HIGHLIGHTS** Over the last two years we have developed a partnership with Prosperity Network. This has been an invaluable partnership for JUMP and they have raised an unbelievable £64,141.50! This year also saw us partner with TD Synnex as their charity of the year and they raised an amazing £10,000 over the year through a charity golf day, Jump 4 JUMP sky dive, JUMP wing walk, Easter Eggstravaganza, Paul Tattersall’s £’s for lbs and Christmas JUMPer day. JUMP were also named as Taylor Wimpey North West’s chosen charity this year and they raised a whopping £8,600. Most of this was raised via an auction at the subcontractor awards event. JUMP were the chosen charity for Crosfields JFC and they raised £705.50 by taking part in a santa dash. HSBC Southport and Ormskirk fire station held a charity wash and donated £500 to JUMP. Christine and Team Evie took part in the Manchester marathon and raisde over £5000 for 3 charities, including JUMP. Sarah Royle School of Dance raised a wonderful £135 through their dance show. We have also had our Jump 4 JUMP sky dive event which raised over £3000. **----- Start of picture text -----**

Well I’ve cried as they are totally beautiful and have captured B’s cheekiness. We are totally thankful for all of the photos, but also for the patience and guidance on the day. The way it was all done was amazing as you were all cool and calm and made us all at ease, but B especially felt the calmness and proceeded to be himself and show off at times." "We enjoy your events so much, giving R the opportunity to meet other children but also for us as adults to meet other parents who are carers. I just wanted to thank you for all you do and what you facilitate for us as families. It certainly helps to provide normality in the times where we feel things are so far from the norm, it's isn't just memories your also providing a support network for so many people. A milestone year in our history as it is now 20 years since we established as a registered charity in memory of Jacob Hawthorn, to create and capture unique memories for children with life limiting health conditions and their families. We are now making excellent progress with implementing our Family Memorable Days Program and our personal photoshoots still underpin all our work with a steady demand directly from families and other health organisations and charities. Our CDM role currently delivered by Harriet Pratt is fundamental to this work and our next challenges as a Board and a Charity are to find ways to sustain this role and grow our valued services to children and their families. Fundraising continues to be a huge challenge, and we have been fortunate to attract the support of businesses who have raised a significant amount of the funding we need annually. The key challenge is demonstrating the impact of what we deliver as a charity as our services are “felt” and support positive mental health and well being We are doing more work on this to try to collect data from children and families about the changes they feel in their wellbeing after they have experienced what JUMP has to offer. At a recent Christmas Event we encouraged feedback from children and families and volunteers on tree decorations that describe “what JUMP means to me “ These words are a powerful testament to everyone involved with JUMP and are included in this report We have always relied heavily on the generosity of people giving their time to ensure that JUMP continues, and this has not changed throughout our 20 years. We would not be where we are today without volunteers. Our Trustee Board all volunteer their time, and we are currently expanding to include people with a wider range of skills and parents of children we support. We have committed people who have supported our events for children and their families and our fundraising events for a great number of years. We are also experiencing more support from local companies as a result of a focus on corporate social responsibility, which has resulted in fundraising efforts for our services.
