parents 5twg91iNJ lo t￿tst given thè trauma of loss they arè ey4)eriencing. Research has shcr•m that for a bereaved parent
it can tske at 188st 8 ye8f5 to begin to C￿ wlh the dealh of a chik1. We afso kncw that unresolved grief can have
negative impad on mentsl health arvj. fmm experience. TrAe kTh)w that for many of our families th&y are in dark plac6s
little hope or OK￿"m1SM the futu￿. Ckn rc4e ks to SUP[￿ them in le￿ild￿9 their lives and having hope for the
fvlure.

children and young people, bereavement is a trdurnatic devaststing life thar6wng event vthi¢h carries potentially
negative consequences if Ihey are unsupported into the lor¥J term. SupFQTts'r¥J ¢hddw and young people with the dgath
