In The Name Of Allah (God), Most Gracious, Most Merciful
January 2022
All praise is due to Allah, and Allah's Peace and Blessings be upon His beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw), his family and noble companions.
In 2021 we all continued to live with the COVID-19 global pandemic. This has without doubt has continued to be extraordinary and challenging and the impact has been felt by all sections of society, our community and the Mosque’s general services. Alhamdulillah, our mosque has been able to adjust and provide many of our services as possible.
Transitioning some of our services, programmes and sermons online using various platforms we have been able to keep the community remain engaged.
Abiding with government legislation we have been able to operate with reduced services by enforcing social distancing measures for our congressional prayers, adhering to medical advice and guidelines.
We are grateful to Allah for the blessings of our Masjid and all the activities we have been able to continue. May Allah rewards the devotion and dedicated commitments of the Management Committee, the generosity of the donors, the hard and tireless work of all the volunteers and staff and continued support from the Muslim community of Swansea. Regrettably members of our community have been directly impacted by COVID-19 and with great sadness some have passed away. May Allah have mercy on our loved ones that have deceased.
We pray Allah keeps us all safe during these difficult times.
