Over the last year due to the pandemic. our Music Ther0p￿ts have had to develop ways of
continuing lo providing muyc therapy se￿OnS. Thi5 h05 invofved Fxe-fecorded videos being
uplooded on YouTube for families to wotch and loin in vthh ￿v$ live interoctive sessions U￿ng
iPad5.
We oim lo conlhnue sUpFx￿In9 os mony chlctren os we con ot the John Radcliffe. Royal Berks &
stoke Mandeville. We hope to be able to re4nfroduce fNe 5e&sions in Ihe near tutUTe but in the
meon lime we have found altemotive woys to conlinue giving MUS￿ Iheropy ses5ion5 which we
hope will still eose the discomforl f(x the chihJren wth their long slays in the hospitots, and in
some cases. even contribute to the recovery and healing r*ocess.
Ihere has been on overwhelming need lor our bereovemenl serwce Ihis yeor with our therapists
supporting many stressed and strained parents of very sick and disabled children during these
chollenging times ol the Comd Pandemic.
The benefits ol cOU￿ellIng have been increased during the F)andemic wth parenls struggling to
cope with keeping thew Sick or disabled children Safe.
The Service provided by the Fund has been credited with helping rnony families get through this
exceptionol hord year.
Svpport when a child dles -
Parents can request support from Rosie's Rainbow Fund beth, during and after the death ol
their child. The siluotion of loss may be when o baby or child is not expected to live or due to a
sudden unexpecled death.
