## TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT 2023-2024 

I write on behalf of the Trustees of the Association. 

I would confirm that the Trustees meet on a bi-monthly basis and that their management of the Association complies with their obligations under the amended Charities Act 2006. 

The Annual accounts for 2023-2024 have been examined and all questions raised have been answered satisfactorily and our Auditor has confirmed that he is happy to audit our books for the next financial year. 

The increase in income has been possible due to the raised profits of our onsite Pre-school. 

There has been a decrease in expenditure for repairs and renewals as we are mindful of the increase in all utility services for the site. 

Our future plans had to be put on hold, which included further renovation to our storage sheds, the roof of which had been renewed with skylights in situ. Further structural work was also planned before refurbishment can take place and our dreams of a Community Café can be bought to fruition.

## **BALANCE SHEET - continued 31st March 2024** 

The company is entitled to exemption from audit under Section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 for the year ended 31st March 2024. 

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year ended 31st March 2024 in accordance with Section 476 of the Companies Act 2006. 

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for: 

- (a) ensuring that the company keeps accounting records which comply with Sections 386 and 387 of the Companies Act 2006 and 

- (b) preparing financial statements which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the company as at the end of each financial year and of its surplus or deficit for each financial year in accordance with the requirements of Sections 394 and 395 and which otherwise comply with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 relating to financial statements, so far as applicable to the company. 

The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions. 

The financial statements were approved by the Board of Directors and authorised for issue on 11th December 2024 and were signed on its behalf by:
