There are tsvo main nursery sessions per day for local children. We offer free nursery pla￿S for 34 year olds offerin9 both 15 hours Free Early Learning and 30-hour Extend8d Free Early Learning. Younger children from 2 IA years are accepted through the 2-year free early leaming plus can te fee paying. Happy Hands offers children appropriate play and educational experiences in conjundion with the governments Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. We are committed to creating an environment for all individuals which provides equality and faimess to all, regardless of race, Gulture or religion. Within this we are proud to be able to provide an inclusive space for all including children with special educational needs. We are regulated by Ofsted and adhere to all relevant health and safety regulalions. We ar8 also rnembers of the Early Years Alliance. Section D Achievements and performance Many changes have emerged here at Happy Hands over the last year. We have welcomed a larger number of younger children from 2 /1 years., and then moving through the Autumn term were pleased delighted to welcome Abbie as our new nursery practrtioner. In the summer term we said good bye to Victoria who has moved on to pastures new. Sophie our college student completed her T Level second year with us passing with flying colours. These changes have been ernbra￿ through continuing established continuity of provision, ensuring that our staff team is a happy one who are all confidently contributing to a positive change. Section D Achievements and performance the brilliant children for helping us grow into who we are today. From the September start of 26 children we increased in numbers to 33 in the Summer tem. At the start of 2025 we managed seventeen 34 year olds and fifteen 2 year olds. Adapting and accommodating the mix within our small space was achieved successfully through careful thought and fine tuning to our daily routine. Relaxing Time our new progressive strategy was introduced during the last year and has proved successful in helping our children to process their morning learning and enable them to enjoy productive afternoon. Staff child interaction is the key to providing the best possible start to our children's learning experience and can seen during all our sessions. Staff have meaningful conversations with children and facilitate their knowledge and help them to move to meeting their full potential through this and our safe and motivating environment. Our year was again action packed throughout. After getting to know all our children we have enjoyed exploring the environment here at Happy Hands our local community. Active P18y,' Kixx football and a special day when Zoo Lab came with their mini beasts CONFIDENCE flourished in all the children and we shone al The Valley Music Festival on stage at The Venue. All dressed up and singing, signing with Makaton to 'This Lrttle Light of Mine" showing rhythm and huge concentration skills with °Tap Rap" from Boogie Mites and our finale S Club 7's 'Reach'. We received an award and have been given £500 to go towards musical equipment here at Happy Hands. Tralnlng Moving away from the usual offer we embarked on building our pedagogy through Froebel Training. Friedrich Froebel ernphasizes that children are inherently creative and learn best through play and hands on experiences. Olhei training cornpleted includes:_Jabodao. First Aid.
