My examination wa5 carried out in accordance with General DireclvJns given by the Charity Commissloners.

the accounts, and seeking explanations from Ihe Iruslees concerning any such matters. The Pro￿dureS

AGM Sept 25
Good Evening.
I'd like to welcome all the parents & children back to Ducklings. for what looks set to be. another
challenging but exciting year ahead.
This has been my 7th full year as volunteer Chairman of the setting.
I've now seen 3 of my kids pass through Duckling. Thefve all had the best experience here.
I cannot praise the setting enough. all of the staff. parents and community work together to provide
fantastic setting for the child￿n.
I'd like to again open by passing praise to the staff of Ducklings over the last 12 months. Come wln,
rain, shine, laughter and tantrums (from the childrenl they all give their everything.
Thanks also to the committee, past and present who alway5 offer up their time and energy to
support the setting.
Support from parents. fundraisers and the local community will be increasingly important to
Ducklings in the coming years, as settings up and down the country are feeling the strain of
increased running costs and an unofficial recession. We need as much support as we can getl
I've conf1rmed to Michelle and to the committee that l am happy to be nominated to continue in this
role, should the committee wish to still have me on boardl
