## Activities

**Objects:** The relief of those in need, by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. To be a voice for, and to practically support, those, in local communities, who are disadvantaged by reason of age, bereavement, disability, education, exploitation, ill-health, isolation, poverty, unemployment, or other disadvantage. We do this by demonstrating integrity and expressing compassion to all, irrespective of circumstances, in accordance with the values of our Christian faith. To promote charitable purposes for the benefit of the community without distinction of age, disability, gender, sexual orientation, race or of political or religious or other opinions, and in particular by: (a) The promotion of improved health and wellbeing and the relief of poverty and distress. (b) To provide or assist in the provision of facilities and services that empower individuals to develop personally, and to build stronger and more cohesive communities.

**Activities:** The Mustard Tree is a Reading based charity supporting people who are often overlooked or marginalised. Working through partnerships with local communities, charities and statutory organisations we innovate and develop projects that reduce health and social inequalities, increase community engagement, and give a voice to the unheard.
