Para 1.20 | In the year April 2023 – April 5th 2024 the finances provided by Stepping Stones Ministries has been blessed to impact :- In Ranaghat West Bengal, caring for the lives and wellbeing of 24 boys (5 of whom joined us in March 24 and 26 girls,(5 new girls arriving in early 24) through provision of care, accommodation, medication, food, clothing, education, physical exercise, additional out of school tuition and guidance and advice from staff and teachers. In all 19 local people have been employed in the work of the children’s’ homes (including 1 new employees, and one employee returning home) and 6 Teachers were contracted to provide additional tuition. Staff include 8 widows. . 4 Bethany girls returned to their villages in this year. 1 to begin Theological Training, 1 to follow Teacher training and 2 to follow nursing. |
In May, we were also able to Support Sanjoy Mondal, our SSI CEO to travel to the UK and visit with numerous supporters to update them with all the benefits that their support has provided.

Para 1.22 | The charity is a small charity with a small income, however the trustees agree to allocate 20% of all general incomes (when available) to keep as a ‘buffer’. The aim is to reach 3 x monthly costs of SSI budget (total approx. £6,600). These monies are kept within the general business account and allocated on an end of month basis via journals to a nominal code named ‘Buffer’. At the end of 2023/2024 there was £1,750 in the buffer account. It is agreed that this buffer is accessible should the need arise. |

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 05/04/2024 .
- Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have examiner's statement come to my attention (other than that disclosed below *) in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
