|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|In the year April 2021 – April 5th 2022 the<br>finances provided by Stepping Stones<br>Ministries  has been blessed to impact :-<br>In Ranaghat West Bengal, caring for the<br>lives and wellbeing of 22 boys and 28 girls.<br>Through provision of care, accommodation,<br>medication, food, clothing, education,<br>physical exercise, additional out of school<br>tuition and guidance and advice from staff<br>and teachers.<br>5 girls completed year 10 exams and were<br>helped to return to families for summer<br>break. 4 returned to continue their<br>education and train as nurses.<br>In all 16 local people have been employed<br>in the work of the children’s’ homes and 6<br>Teachers were contracted to provide<br>additional tuition. Staff include 8 widows.<br>1 staff member was given hospital care<br>following a stroke and blood clots and is<br>recovering.<br>All staff and children were kept safe and<br>well during the Covid outbreak.  Following<br>guidelinesinallareasincluding teacher|





visits.  All children have been able to maintain their school education to a high level. Food parcels and blankets were distributed in 6 different regions assisting over 830 families.  Including partnership with another local organisation Outreach worker Som was provided with a motor bike to aid his outreach work. 68 people were funded to receive Covid Vaccinations. 1 Alumni boy has been accepted into a college of further education. Donations of over £9500 received to help with the needs arising from the Covid pandemic.

## **Financial Review**

- **Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation **basis of report** of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 

   - of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
