**Objects:** 1. THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION BY THE PROVISION OF MENTORING SCHEMES WHICH SUPPORT YOUNG PEOPLE WITHIN ALL COMMUNITIES. 2. THE PROMOTION AND UNDERTAKING OF RESEARCH INTO ISSUES SUCH AS EDUCATION, CRIME, HEALTH AND SOCIAL WELFARE AFFECTING ALL COMMUNITIES/ETHNICITIES AND THE DISSEMINATION OF ANY USEFUL RESULTS.  3. THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF THE MEMBERS/VOLUNTEERS IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY AND HELP MEET THEIR NEEDS AND TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY.

**Activities:** Pioneers Leading the Way is an Eduactional charity that recruits, trains, CRB checks and places volunteer mentors.  The mentors provide one to one support for young people in varying localities throughout Birmingham.  Pioneers facilitate the training for Mentors including in house mentor preparotory training, Accreditation with Asdan CVQ, work based experience and career advice.
