The continued support of the Gaskins Trust is always very much appreciated and no more so than in these very challenging times — — Thank you! I'm sure you will not be surprised to hear that the COVID-1? Coronavirus has had a had a a dramatic impact on our services and fundraising here at Myton. We are facing a reduction in our voluntary income of at least 50% each month. Our 3 Day Units have been closed for the time being but we are continuing to provide in-patient care. Our community services are still operating through Myton at Home and the Rapid Response service in South Warwickshire and our Living Well support is available, where appropriate, via telephone consultations. We are grateful for the latest Government announcement to support the hospice sector but at the current time we are still unaware of how much income we will receive and when this will be. We are very fortunate to have the support of our local community and local charitable trusts who have responded quickly to our urgent appeal but these are extraordinary times and we need further help to get us through the challenges ahead. If you are, at any time, able to draw more from the Gaskins Trust investment to help get us through this extremely difficult time and to strengthen our longer-term sustainability, we would be enormously grateful.
