PTA Purpose and Mission
The aims of the Association are to advance the education and wellbeing of the pupils of the school by providing or assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school (not normally provided by the Local Authority).
This includes:-

promoting close co-operation and communication between parents and teachers
-
● engaging in activities which support and advance the education and wellbeing of the pupils attending the school, including fundraising and after school activities
We have taken the commission’s public benefit guidance into account when making any decision it is relevant to.

How else can you raise money for the school?

Easyfundraising http://easyfundraising.org.uk/. They convert commissions you generate into donations for Keston PTA.

Direct Donations via Direct Debit - Donate £5, £10, £50 per month via Direct Debit directly to the PTA funds. Grab a form from Louisa.

Where does your money go?
In 2025, the PTA gifted £20,198.41 to the school to pay for:
★ New Buddy Bench
★ New Shelter for KS2 Playground
★ New PTA Shed
★ New Microphones for Hall Performances
- ★ White Rose Maths Books
★ Health Week Top Up
★ Y3 Swimming Lessons
- ★ Playground & Astro Remedials & Maintenance
Notable Changes for 2025
- A Just Giving Page was set up for the Charity
● The School Uniform shop, which was ran by the PTA, often at a loss was disbanded. Any remaining stock was gifted to the school, although it is noted that much is old logo or sizes ordered incorrectly. Moving forward parents are to order directly from the MACPAC website and they will deliver to the school every 2 weeks.
- The charity started using Ticket Tailor, although an additional expense to the fundraising initiative, it ensure tickets aren’t oversold and encourage card payments.
