Green Pastures (Dereham) Annual Report and Financial Statements st For the year ended 31 January 2025 st st Annual Report for the period l February 2024 to 31 January 2025. Report of the trustees Legal and Administrative information set out on page I forms part of thi5 report. Public Benefit The trustees have had due regard to the Charity Commission guidance on public benefit reporting. This report illustrates the activities undertaken to support the public benefit requirement. Organisation The charity is a charitable company limited by guarantee. incorporated on 13th January 2004, it changed its name on 25th April 2004 and registered as a charity on 9th June 2004. The company was established under a Memorandum of Association which established the objects and powers of the charitable company and is governed under its Articles of Association. The charity is managed by the trustees who meet regularly to consider the progress of the charity and to consider its future direction and activities. The day-to-day operation of the charity is delegated to the Managers. Trustee Appointments Trustees are appointed by the existing trustees to meet the needs of the trustee board. Objects of the charity The charity has the following objects: To advance the Christian Faith in Norfolk for the benefit of the public through the sale of Bibles, Christian t)ooks. music, cards and related products. Activities and Achievements The year ended well, despite the challenges that retail shops face. This was largely due to additional pop-ups and regular pop-ups in Bury St Edmunds, Kings Lynn and more recently Norwich. Overall, Pop-ups accounted for over 25% of our sales Income in the last financial year. We attend Ladies events regularly and are always open to attend additional events when asked. The closure of Revelation Resource Centre in Norwich has led to an increase in interest and footfall in the shop and this in turn has widened contact with additional churches which we are able to resource. The Managers working together on a Wednesday is proving beneficial and enables continuity. They both attended the Christian Resources Together conference. Sadly, one of our Trustees resigned during the year due to other commitments, but we are actively seeking additional trustees to widen our range of skills and expertise. We have extensively refurbished the shop. We have removed the front window display unit which enables more space in the shop but also opens the shop visibility to the public. We h3ve been able to purchase additional units to display stock more effectively and look to add to this further in the coming year. Our partnership with Love Dereham and DBC continues to work well including sponsoring a book for the DBC congregation.
