Section D Achievements and performance During 2023-2024 we have continued education by organising two **Summary of the main** meetings per year one scientific and one clinical. The scientific meeting in **achievements of the charity** March was our first in-person meeting since Spring 2020, while the **during the year** clinical meeting in October was a hybrid meeting.

We have organised a basic education course.

We have continued to support trainees with travel awards to attend major conferences, so they have the opportunity to present their work. In addition, we awarded the annual Hamblin prize and Catovsky Oral prize, of £500 each, and a Catovsky Poster Prize of £200.

- We appointed two new executive members (Dr N Chavda (Bristol) and Dr D Dutton (Southampton). The current CLL Forum initiatives are: • Running a basic CLL course (annually in the summer) • A newsletter

   - Promotion of a vaccination booklet with CLLSA

   - Development of a guidance booklet for GPs.

   - • Initiation of a surrogate Family & Friend buddy with Leukaemia Care: pilot launched

   - Promoting wellbeing for patients and healthcare professionals.

   - Collaboration with ERIC (European Research Initiative CLL)

   - • Collection of Real World Data (RWD) on: – EPIC

      - NCRAS/PHE- database of 17,000 patients.

   - Expanding travel eligibility for ALL scientists

After leading the UK CLL Forum Committee for the last 5 years, Dr Renata Walewska is coming to the end of her term. She will be succeeded by Dr Nicolas Martinez-Calle, Consultant Haematologist in Nottingham. He will take on the role of Chair in March 2025. Our Treasurer Dr Nilma Parry-Jones is also stepping down after a long tenure replaced by Prof Jon. Strefford.
