Mai'ch 2001 and registei'ed as a chai'ity on the 7th June 2004. The company was established
under a Meinoranduin of Association which established the objects and powers of the
chaiitable company and is govei-ned under its Articles of Association.

sessions of ieflexology with a qualified complementaiy thei'apist to aid relaxatioii.
Oui. Tiansport service- Cai's witli Cal'e - is available to take patients to hospital for their
appoiiitments and ti'eatmeiits, Oui, volunteei. drivers will accompany them to the right
depai'tinent, assist as requii'ed tbroughout and then i'etuin them home. We are also able to take
patients to their GP and othei" necessaiy medical appointments as well as to groups which we
i'un from oiir premises, of which thei'e al'e inany.
Oui bei'eaveinent group is attended by those who have lost a husband, wife oi. life p￿tner.
Tliis is veiy much a social group whicli may be the first step into socializing without theii.
pat'tnei.. We offei. a 'th'op in, afternoon foi. patients, with fainily membei's welcome to attend
too. The gL'OUP enables people witli similai. experiences to get together and PL'ovides a break
fi'oin tlie illness, Our 'Tea with Friends, aftei'noon is pai'ticulai-ly aimed at those I'eceiving our
services wlio are living alone, althougli everyone is welcome to attend. Tea, cakes,
liglitheai'ted chat, and compaiiionship al'e enjoyed, and time spent with our staff and
volunteei's is beneficial to all,

Bei'eavement counselling is a VAtal pai't of hospice cai'e. We offer both pre and post
beieavement coiinselling to tlie family niembers of those we al'e suppoiting.
Uniqiiely, out. bei'eavement counsclling also extends to others in oui. community who are
gi'icving a loss, iiicliiding froin illiiess, sudden dcalli and suicide. This seivice is without a
waiting list and not iesti'icted to a set niunber of sessions.
To ensui'e the person-centred support we offei reinains of the highest quality, we connect with
hcalth cal-e professionals and other oi'ganisations and keep up to date with advancernents.
As well as the impact we have on individuals, in pi"oviding our support we help ease the
deiiiands placed on othei. organisations and health seivices and contl'Abiite to meeting the
atnbitions of local and national fr￿newol.ks.
We ale able to offei ow suppoit and seivices, wliich our community relies upon, without
cliaige to seivice useA3. To enable us to do tliis and to ineet our costs, we rely on donations
