**Objects:** THE FRIENDS IS ESTABLISHED TO BEAUTIFY AND ASSIST IN THE MAINTENANCE OF THE FABRIC OF THE PARISH CHURCH OF ST. MARY THE VIRGIN, BURPHAM IN THE DIOCESE OF CHICHESTER (HEREINAFTER CALLED "THE CHURCH") AND TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT IT AS A PLACE OF CHRISTIAN WORSHIP, AND AS A RESOURCE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE COMMUNITY.

**Activities:** The charity raises funds to help keep open St Mary the Virgin Church in Burpham, West Sussex; both as a place of worship and as a resource for the use of residents and visitors. The charity makes grants to maintain the fabric of the building.
