It was Dllt to the AGM following whether this could be regarded as impinging on his independence as an examiner. It was dismissed as a concem al the AGM and he has been re-appointed in Ihe followng years. His fee for the current year is £35012023 - £350}. He has offered himself for re-app3intment for the forthcomiro year. Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner The charitys trustees are responsible for Ihe preparalion of the accounts. The charitys trustees ￿nsider that an audit is not required for Ihis year (under section 144{2) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibility lo.. - examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act.. to follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 14515}(b) of the 2011 Act.. and - to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
