**WFIS & NURSERY - PTA TREASURER'S REPORT 2021-22**

A key focus of the PTA is to raise money for the school, by running community events that are fun for all the family.

This report details the financial summary of all the events run in 2021/22. We raised over £23,000 from our PTA events with something for everyone - Make The Rules Day for the children, Race Night & Quiz Night for the parents, plus our always popular family events, the Christmas & Summer Fair. We were lucky to be able to organise the Circus and a wonderful Celebration Evening this year. These along with the Fireworks Event were our highest fund raisers.

At the bottom of the report is a detailed breakdown of how we spent over £15,000 with the school's guidance. Our largest spend was on supporting the reading bus, funding the training and set up of the forest school, workshops for all year groups, reading corner books and various storage sheds around the school to look after all the new playground & classroom resources. A further £6,000 has been committed to at the end of term with invoiced yet to be received.

The detail of what we spent on other PTA expenses and stock is also detailed at the bottom of this report.
