Activities
We are a small charity run by volunteers, helping to raise awareness of colon cancer and helping the sick to remain at home, if desired. We raise our funds by manning stalls, home parties, events and donations. We currently fund home hospice services, awareness raising campaigns and information leaflets.
Objects: To Promote Any Charitable Purpose For The Benefit Of The Public In Particular But Not Exclusively:(a) The Advancement Of Scientific Or Medical Research Particularly Relating Top Colon Cancer, On The Condition That All Useful Results Of Such Scientific Or Medical Research Are Published, By Means Of (But Not Limited To) The Making Of Financial Grants, Bursaries, Scholarships, Prizes And Other Like Awards;(b) The Advancement Of Education And Training In All Aspects Of Knowledge By Means Of (But Not Limited To) The Making Of Financial Grants, Bursaries, Scholarships, Prizes And Like Awards; And(c) The Promotion And Provision Of Facilities In The Interests Of Social And Community Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation And Enjoyment With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life Of People Who Are Disadvantaged By Youth, Age, Infirmity, Or Disablement, Poverty, Or Social And Economic Circumstances By Means Of (But Not Limited To) The Making Of Financial Grants Or Other Like Awards.
