The Friends of Beacon Hill Sthool IFOBHSI is a registered tharity and a memberof PTA UK. an annual
general meeting was held on the 17 October 2024 and the followtng trustees were appointed-

The object of the charity is to advance the education of the pupils of Beacon Hill Primary School by:
Devefoping effertive relationships between the staff. parents. and others associated with the
school, providing and assisting in the provision of facilitie5 for education at the sthool.
Engaging in activities or providing f8thlities orequipment whi(h supportthe school and advance the
education of the pupils. The association shall be non-party p)litscal and non-sectarian.
The principal activities of FOBHS are to geneTate funds to donate to Beacon Hill Primary School for
specific projects and enhance learniw these fvnds are generated by holding an extremely active
and varied programme of events throughout the year.
Where volunteers are allowed, The FOBHS attend new intake meeting5 to serve tea. coffee and
snacks, and to give parents a chance to see the unifomilbook bags e.Lc
The FOBHS run a summer fair, Christmas fair and a Firework5 night, which a5 well as raising funds
for the school. also inC￿85eS commttment and familiarity wtth the sthool forthe whole famity.
The FOBHS charity works dosety wrth the sclwjl and the head teacher or her representative, who
attends FOBHS regular meetFn85.

The trustees are very pleased with the level of support and the fLEnds that have been generated in
the year, all events have been well supported by parents. children and staff.
During the year 2024125. FOBHS has funded sclM)ol trips for all pupils. additional SEN resources.
additional sports equipment, Library resource5 plus many more items, this allows all the childien to
experience extra curriculum artivities during school.

The FOBHS aims to make all, of its activtties accessible to everyone in the school.
The FOBHS issue regular updates and newsletters on ￿ndS raised and spent, which is issued to all
parents.
Public Benefft
The Trustees confimi that they have referred to theguidance contained in the charity commission's
general guidance on public benefft when ￿￿ewing The Friends of Beacon Hill School's aims and
oblertives and in planning future activttie& The Friends of Beacon Hill Sthool is a group of parent
and staff volunteers. The Friends of Beacon Hill School hold regular committee meetings where
staff, parents and others associated with the school a￿ a￿layS welcome to partidpate.
The charity does not have a policy on reserves, but the T￿aSUrer looks to maintain enough money
in the bank accounts to fund all forthcoming expenses such as floats and expenses for events and
any commitments to donations to the school. At no point in the year was the account overdrawn.

I report on the accounts of Friends of Beacon Hill School for the year ended 31 August 2025, which
comprises the statement of financial artivities. balance sheet and related notes.
The commtttee is responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The committee consider that an
audit is not reqLtired for this year under sectK>n 144 of the tharitie5 ALt 2011 and that an
independent examination is needed.
It ts my responsibilty to:
Examine the accoLtnts under section 145 of the Charit￿S Act
Follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity
Commission under section 145{5llbl of the Charrtke5 Act
and to state whether, particular matters have come to my attention
Basis of independent examiners report
I report in respect of my examination of the Trusys accounts carried out under settion 145 of the
2011 Art and in tarrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the
Charty Commission under section 14515}Ibl of the Art. The procedures undertaken do not provide
all the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequentty no opinion is given as to
whether the accounts present a 'true and fair viev/ and the report is limrted to those matters set
out in the statement below.

I have cotnpleted my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention
in connertion with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in. any material respect=
