The trustees present their report togcther with the accounts of thc trust for the year ended 31 Deceniber
2023. Thc trustL'L's have adoptcd the provisions of the StatLmLnt of Rccomniended Practice- (SORP FRS
102) and The Charitie8 Act 2011.The trugt have referred to the guidance in the Charity Commission's
general guidanc¢ on public benefit whcn rcvicwing the aim and objectives and in planning the charity's
future activities. In particular, the trustees consider how planncd iiCtivitic,8 will contribute to thc aims and
objectives sel.
Structure, Governance and Management
Goi'erning document
The trust is vonstiluled by a Trust Deed ai)d registered with Ihe Charily Cominission under the charity
i)umber 1102943.
Risk management
The Irustees dr¢ responsible for the managemeiit of risks faced by the charity. The trustees hav¢
uiidertakeii a full risk asscssment of the organisaiioii aiid have iiitroduced various key contruls. These
controls are reviewed ￿}nuallY. The trusle¢s are satisfied that the major risks identified have been
adequately mitigdted where necessary. It is recogiiized that systems can only provide reasonable but not
absolute assurance that Inajor risks have bLen adcquately managed.
Charitable objects
l. The relief of poverty and sickness anywhere in the world and in particular those affected by
natural cau.ses. wars. conflicts. foreign and domestic by the provision of financial or oth¢r
assistance including medicines, hospitals. shelter, food, Lloihing, saniiation and clean dnnking
waler.
2. Advaiiciiig the education ofthose in necd and orphans anywhere in ihe world by the provisioii
of traiiiiiig cenlers, work.%hop% and education centers.
3. The relief of poverty. sickness and distress in the world.

Revieiv of activitley and public benefit
The results for the ycar under review are as shown in thc attached Financial Statcmcnts. The trustees are
quite satisfied with ihe result achieved in the year under review as they nianaged to rais¢ over £90,000 to
help victims of carthqudke in Morocco and Turkey. With regard to the Sudan projecl the situation
dctcriorated with the rcccnt coup and civil war in thc Lountry and as a result the project has been delayed
until furthcr noticc from the Foreign Offic¢.
Our third retreat to Saudi Arabia has takLn plaLL in Janu¢lry. Wc thank the staff and all
volunteers for makingF sure ihe retreat was a success.we ar¢ grateful to all our supporters for
helpiiig us to provide hL'Ip lo suffering people in Sudaii. The situation is goiiig from bad to even
Inore diffiLult for people because of the fighting taking place. We hope tlie civil war will stop
sooii so that we can start our project to assist the destitutes to build th¢ir lives(God williiig).
We have Inaiiaged to provide soine help to ihe people who were affected by Ihe Earthquake in
Turkey. Also, Ihose who were affeLted in Morocco where we travelled to the affected area with
the help of a Moroccan Charity who took us to a Village where we maiiagcd to provide some
help to over fifiy families.
All Rumi's Cave project aciivities ar¢ being run well. We are gvrateful io all the .4taff and
volunle¢rs for their dedication and hard work for delivering inuch needed support to:
l- The Children breakfast and homework club.
2- Youth activity programs.
3- Mother and toddler s support.
4- Befriending the elderly program.
5- The homeless support by providing daily ineals, wiiiter Iiainpers and many other ncedty.
We ihank the Loiidon Baugh of Breni for their continued support aiid help. We are also thankful
to the Mosqu¢ and IslamiL Centre of BrLnt for their support and for the use of their main hall
every Sunday for feeding the homeless.

I report on the accounts ot the Trust for the year ended 31 December 2023, which are set out on pages
6t0 11.
Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner
The charity's tru.8tees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's trustees consid(
tliat an audit is not required for this year undcr scLtion 144(2) of the Charities Act 2011 and that an
independent examination is needed.

Donatioii% reccivcd for the gvcncraL purposes of the Trust arc included ds unrostrictcd funds. Donations
received for the purpose of educatiiig people in need and orphans: relieving poverty, sickness and distress
caused by iiatural disastcrs. war.s and conflicts are takeii to restricted fuiids. Restricted fuiids are to be used
for the speLilic purposes as laid down by the donor. All donations are accounted for as and when received
by tlie Lliarity.
(b)Resources expended
Resources expended are accouiited for on an accrual basis. The irrecoverable eleinent of VAT is iiicluded
with the ilem of expeiise to whiLh it relates.
ResourLes expended are allocaied to the particiilar activity where the cost relates directly to that activity.

at the net incoining resources for the year.
