THE PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF THE EMOTIONAL PHYSICAL MENTAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES (MENTAL OR PHYSICAL) WITH THE PREFERENCE GIVEN TO THOSE WITH HEARING DIFFICULTIES BY THE PROVISION OF COUNSELLING AND REHABILITATION SERVICES TO SUCH PERSONS AND THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS.   II.  THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COUNSELLORS FAMILIES CARERS AND OTHERS WHO ASSIST  IN HELPING PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES ESPECIALLY THOSE WITH HEARING IMPAIRMENTS.   III. THE PROMOTION OF RESEARCH FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC INTO ISSUES AFFECTING PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES AND THE DISSEMINATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF ANY SUCH RESEARCH.
