THE RELIEF OF PERSONS PRIMARILY UNDER THE AGE OF 55 YEARS, WHO HAVE SUFFERED A STROKE AND THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS, BY THE PROVISION OF A TELEPHONE INFORMATION ADVICE AND SUPPORT LINE, WRITTEN INFORMATION AND ADVICE, AND THE PROVISION OF INPUT INTO DEVELOPMENT OF RELEVANT MEDICAL TREATMENT AND CARE SYSTEMS.   2.  TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.

**Activities:** Support & social group for persons under the age of 65 who have suffered a Stroke, and their families and carers. Telephone/email advice and support.Monthly social meetings, outings and events, for group members.We also have occasional input into the development of stroke medical treatments and rehabilitation.
