WE FACILITATE AND ENCOURAGE THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF VIOLIN MAKERS BY PROVIDING FUNDS AND MAKING INTRODUCTIONS WHICH MAY LEAD TO WORK PLACEMENTS.
Objects: (i) To Facilitate And Encourage The Education And Training In The Craft Of The Making Or Repair And Restoration Of Bowed String Instruments By Those Engaged As And Registered As Full Or Part-Time Students Of This Craft In The United Kingdom And Otherwise To Promote And Encourage The Appreciation Of The Craft Of Violin Making And Restoration By Public Educational Activities.(ii) The Charity May Provide Funds And Make Or Assist In Making Arrangements For Initiating Or Sponsoring Projects Of Research Or Study Relating To The Said Craft For The Benefit Of The Public And To Disseminate The Useful Results Of Any Such Research.
