Objects: 1. To Preserve And Maintain For The Public Benefit One Or More Thames Sailing Barges In Sailing Condition Or Otherwise As Part Of The Heritage Of Great Britain;2. To Preserve And Maintain For The Public Benefit The Thames Lighter Named "sailorman" In Good Condition Or Otherwise As Part Of The Heritage Of Great Britain;3. To Advance The Education Of The Public As To The Historic And Cultural Role Of Thames Sailing Barges In The Seagoing Heritage Of Great Britain And To Provide Training In And Practice Of The Traditions And Skills And Seamanship Involved In The Sailing Handling And Maintenance Of Thames Sailing Barges In The Waters Traditionally Sailed By Them.
