Objectives and Activities

The objectives of the church are to advance Christian faith and develop the spiritual needs of members of the community. These objectives are achieved by holding church services on Fridays and Sundays and holding revivals and special programmes. We also undertake evangelistic activities including distributing evangelistic materials and going on radios to preach the gospel.

We have considered the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit.

Achievements and Performance

During the year, we were able to welcome 8 families in our church. The church also rented a stall to display evangelistic materials in the local market. We also continued our radio evangelism and donated some cash to the needy

Financial Review

Total receipts on unrestricted funds were £52,276. At year end, there were no of outstanding liabilities.

The net result for the year was an excess of receipts over payments of £337. The cash balances carried forward at 31[st] March 2024 totalled £2,016.

The church does not have a policy on holding reserves.

Structure, Governance and Management

The governing document of the church is a constitution dated 01/07/2015. The church is an association and trustees are appointed at church members’ meeting.

Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner

The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).

The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 of the Act and that an independent examination is needed.

It is my responsibility to:

Basis of independent examiner’s statement

My examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair’ view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
