**Objects:** TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN THE TOWN OF LECHLADE ON THAMES:(1) THE PROTECTION OR CONSERVATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT;(2)  THE PRESERVATION OF BUILDINGS OR SITES OF HISTORIC OR ARCHITECTURAL IMPORTANCE;(3)  THE MAINTENANCE, IMPROVEMENT OR PROVISION OF PUBLIC AMENITIES;(4)  THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE OR THOSE WHO BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, POVERTY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES, HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES.

**Activities:** The trust exists to raise funds and provide financial support for community projects and facilities for the benefit of Lechlade.  Project examples include support: to the local school for exercise equipment, to local sports clubs to encourage the participation of young people, to the district nurses for new equipment and to replace equipment lost due to a fire which destroyed the Memorial Hall.
